This radiation enables examination of the layers adjoining the outermost layers of certain materials and thin illustrated layers.
Applications:
Reading of faded marks and inscriptions on paper, parchment, ceramics, wood, stone, paint and canvas.
Highlighting of preparatory drawings, indications of the addition of colour, hidden signatures, retouching under or in the illustrated layers.
